Tsukumo

Tsukumo (ツクモ Tsukumo) is an inmate in Nanba Prison who was arrested for trespassing. He claims to be a ninja celebrity.

Tsukumo is a lean young man with light pink hair with a magenta gradient. It is styled in wind-swept manner, with the bangs sweeping in various directions, and the rest styled into a long ponytail which is tied with an aqua blue ribbon. He has sharp, gold eyes and piercings on both of his ears.^[1][2]

Tsukumo wears the standard North-American inmate jumpsuit, with the exception of it being purple in color. The sleeves are torn at his mid-forearm, revealing a black ninja suit underneath. He also wears red wristbands, a thin black headband around his forehead, and a mask to hide the lower half of his face. His inmate number is attached to the left side of his chest.

Personality

He is first shown to be a cool and collected person. He also seems to enjoy training, often being with Yamato Godai to train until the sun sets. It is later revealed that he is actually rather clumsy. He also tends to panic when people recognize or found out that he was actually a rather famous actor.

Background

Tsukumo was born into a shinobi village, but was cast away by his parents, growing to believe that they did so because he was a terrible shinobi. From that day on, he trained alone in the forest, until he was discovered by a former actress and current movie director, who was looking for a real ninja to star in her upcoming movie. Tsukumo shunned her and her companion at first, refusing to tell her where the other shinobi were when asked and trying to hide from her, albeit unsuccessfully. However, the director claimed to be his long-lost mother, giving Tsukumo a scarf and promising to turn him into a great shinobi warrior.

However, in actuality, the director merely turned Tsukumo into a shinobi actor. Tsukumo had a natural talent for acting and soon became known as a famous child actor, performing in many films. However, one day he somehow came to find out that the director was not his mother at all. After discovering this, he ran away, attempting to rediscover his ninja village, but he ended up unintentionally entering private property and was arrested at a result. Having played the role of an escaped convict before, he had no problem in breaking out, and was eventually transferred to Nanba Prison.
