| Introduction |
Shiro (シロ Shiro) is a supporting character of the anime and web manga series. Originally a prisoner in Nanba Prison, he started working as an apprentice chef in the prison's cafeteria after he was released. He is also Chimney's brother.
Appearance[]
Shiro is a very tall and well-built man. He has really short blonde hair and a scar on the left side of his face from his forehead to left cheek and seems to have a slight hunchback when he walks. Shiro wears a chef outfit with a light green tie around his neck.
Personality[]
Shiro is actually very nice and calm, even though he does not speak, and he gets happy when he receives compliments on his cooking. Shiro does not like rowdiness, so he tends to become silently irritated and stops the fighting prisoners.
Background[]
Shiro originally was a prisoner at Nanba prison. According to Rock, he came back because the food is better in the prison than on the outside. He is currently apprenticed to the chef at Nanba.
Plot[]
When he gets a compliment from Rock, he becomes happy but stays silent. After four minutes, he returns with a giant white cake with white frosting and strawberries.
Trivia[]
- His hobby is menu planning.
- Shiro means "white" or can be translated to his Inmate number. (シ sounds similar to "四" which means 4 and ロ is the first syllable of 六 meaning six)
- Shiro owns Haku, the plump white cat.
