Plot[]
Komachi states that those who are heading to work or taking the monorail must verify their ID cards on the first gate, then continuing on to the second gate. As Hitoshi Sugoroku and Houdzuki Sanzou swipe their ID cards, they notice that their verification sounds are different. Komachi explains that the chief, Mitsuru Hitokoe, said that it was getting boring with the same sounds every day, so the sounds have been changed periodically. Hitoshi asks if the verification sounds are used to keep track of who are entering Nanba Prison as visitors or workers and Komachi says yes and that they're easy to count by the sounds. Komachi believes that only one person has yet to arrive at Building 5, probably the same person as always. As Hitoshi is surprised to hear a loud scream, Komachi tries to explain to him what it is, but not before Damian fearfully asks why only his building gets screams as a verification sound every day and that it is scary. She says that it was a woman's voice this time, but he says it isn't the point. Afterwards, Komachi reports to Mitsuru that the buildings have submitted complaints saying that the verification sounds are too loud while Mitsuru says that they will change the sounds into something more cool and passionate next time.[1]
Etymology[]
