KAGU-8 (神八 Kagu-hachi), also known as Kaguya, is a female android nurse at Nanba Prison who was created by Okina Otogi and Kazari Otogi as their "daughter".
Appearance[]
KAGU-8 is an attractive pale-skinned robot with ankle-length hot pink hair with electric blue highlights with a light blue electrical outlet at the bottom, mechanical linings on her forearm, and her eyes to her chin, yellow eyes, and short eyebrows, a thin waist, and large breasts.
She wears a skimpy nurse outfit with a white leotard, green striped arm warmers, white gloves, green boots with white kneecaps and a hat on top that is all decorated with a heart on it.
Personality[]
As an android, KAGU-8 shows no personality as she doesn't even react about how Uno, Rock, Nico, Trois and Honey flirt over her and asking about perverted topics that she doesn't speak often because of this. When she does, she often questions things that are related to emotions, like when Nico remembered how shady people were interested in his illnesses and when Okina Otogi and Kazari Otogi are fighting over frying eggs where she asked what a divorce is, but KAGU-8 is very loyal and obedient to Okina that she often gives out the flavor medications for Nico.
Background[]
KAGU-8 was created by Okina Otogi and Kazari Otogi who considers them her "parents". She helps assist Okina with giving medicine to Nico and help keep and eye on him.
Plot[]
KAGU-8 first appeared when she gave Nico his medicine in the flavor of a coin-dispenser candy.
Later, she asked Nico if he's was in pain while in bed. As she watched Okina Otogi and Kazari Otogi (KAGU-8's "parents") fight over an egg and plan a divorce later on, Uno signaled her to stop them from fighting by questioning them about what a divorce is.
Etymology[]
- The name Kaguya means "god, deity, spirit" (神) (kagu) and "eight" (八) (ya).
- KAGU-8's name is a reference to Kaguya-hime from The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. Like Kaguya-hime, KAGU-8 is the adopted daughter of Okina Otogi who had many suitors wooed by her beauty.
