Daisen Kokoriki (九力 大仙 Kokoriki Daisen) is a supporting character in the Nanbaka Web Manga and anime. He is a former marathon runner and a guard of Building 5 of Nanba Prison.
Appearance[]
Daisen is a dark-skinned man of below-average height. He has freckled cheeks and pink and yellow eyes outlined with pink makeup. His hair contains multiple shades of pink and is worn with the left bangs slicked back and the right ones falling loose over his face, with the rest of his hair tied in a small ponytail. He wears a long, red tassel earring in his right ear.
Daisen wears a slightly modified version of the Nanba Prison guard uniform with a pink belt and pink and black boots. As a guard of building five, he wears a dark green armband on his left arm.
Personality[]
Kokoriki is a very confident character. He doesn’t have the most common sense, but he is completely aware of who is above or below his level. He has a bit of sass to him and seems to believe that he’s right most of the time. Kokoriki is fond of music as he’s often found with earbuds during breaks while Youriki and Rokuriki focus more on training. He’s been seen teasing other guards and prisoners before and has a sort of playful side to him, which is shown often.
In comparison to Youriki and Rokuriki, Kokoriki is far more laid back. Despite this, he takes fighting very seriously and enjoys sparring with them. It’s also known that he likes sweet things such as chocolate and ice cream.

Etymology[]
His full name came from a character from Journey of the West named the Immortal of Tiger Power (虎力大仙).
- The name Daisen means "big, great" (大) (dai) and "cent, hermit, wizard" (仙) (sen).
- Daisen's surname Kokoriki means "nine" (九) (koko) and "force, power, strength" (力) (riki).
